My gift to the whole world

Priyanshu keshari

There might be so many varieties of things which could be given to the world. It could be money, technology, or something else. It also might be too many luxuries and materialistic things, but the most important thing is instead, that is the teachings of the way to righteousness, to the essence of life i.e., emancipation, the peace and satisfaction which could not be achieved through any of the normal gifts. So, if I could give a gift to the world, it would be the holy book, the Bhagavad Gita, which always teaches humanity and shows the right path without disrespecting others' beliefs.
There is nothing in the life of a human being which is not mentioned or not given in it. Every situation of life is included. Very famous scientists of the world like J. Robert Oppenheimer, Erwin Schrödinger, Werner Heisenberg, Niels Bohr, Carl Sagan, Nikola Tesla, etc., have also reached the conclusion that the philosophy and teachings of the Bhagavad Gita are fully applicable, practical, and relevant—whether from scientific or philosophical prospective. It has the capability of transforming the lifeless existence of a person into a blossoming one. People of today's world are almost prosperous, but they lack something called happiness, peace, and satisfaction. People are nowadays more depressed, tense, and full of anxiety and don't even know how to fight back and come back in the battle of life. People need to understand more about the ups and downs of life and experience them through this book so-called Bhagavad Gita. Human psychology says that the way we think is the way events start to occur. So, when a person starts to engage with something good, they are surrounded by positivity which tends to bring them to a correct path. People are nowadays so practical that they do not understand the significance of a simple prayer, beliefs, and positivity. Bhagavad Gita would guide them to understand the nature of life and embrace the diversity of the world in every context. There is something more than logic and physicality in life—something we often overlook due to our tangled lives—but it has a significant impact on human existence. We need to unleash the inner power and to the extreme level of thoughts where we can see the ultimate truth. The Bhagavad Gita provides not only knowledge but also wisdom.
Many people would think that this gift is just the imposition of a specific religion's holy book and it might become controversial, but the Bhagavad Gita is not just a book of a specific religion; rather, it is for humanity. It is the book which teaches to embrace the diverse cultures, rituals, and embark on the light of wisdom among us. This book has proven its significance by bringing positive reforms in the lives of many people. The world needs to unlock the potential of wisdom and spread humanity. I believe this could be the gift akin to providing water and nutrients directly to the soil and roots of a plant, rather than merely decorating its upper parts. The teachings of the Bhagavad Gita would be the best gift for the world, in my view.
